
The HARMONISE project’s fifth workshop was held online
The fifth workshop with the stakeholder network took place as an online event on 18 March 2025.
The meeting participants represented various organisations and disciplines with an interest in the HARMONISE findings. Following a round table of participant introduction Dr E. Urbonavičius, the HARMONISE coordinator, presented an overview of the project objectives and main concepts as well as the results achieved.

Mr Y. Morier, a retired expert from the European Aviation Safety Agency and the French Civil Aviation Authority, presented the experience gained by the aviation industry in harmonising licensing requirements. Furthermore, he proposed to HARMONISE participants to contemplate drafting recommendations for the harmonised licensing of nuclear power plants.


Following the presentations, an open agenda discussion took place among the stakeholders and project partners, while all meeting participants were invited to attend the final HARMONISE meeting that is scheduled to take place in Kaunas, Lithuania on 19-20 May 2025.
