A sum of the work performed within the HARMONISE project was presented at “The 15th Biennial International Conference on Sustainable Development through Nuclear Research and Education” held in Pitesti, Romania on 29 through 31 May 2024. Dr M. Nitoi presented on 30 May 2024 at the “Sustainable Development” session a paper entitled “Efforts to achieve harmonization in the licensing of fission and fusion power plants” by M. Nitoi, A. Ikonomopoulos, E. Urbonavičius, L. Cizelj, M. Uršič.

The presentation outlined the main directions followed, the challenges encountered as well as the results obtained, while the interactions with the stakeholders and their expectations were highlighted.
