A concise account of the HARMONISE activities with an emphasis on Work Package 4 tasks was presented at the meeting of Phase 4 of the CEN Workshop 64 “Design and manufacturing codes for GEN II to GEN IV nuclear facilities” held on 29 June 2023 at the CEN-CENELEC premises in Brussels, Belgium. A presentation entitled “Project overview and major objectives” was given by L. Allais outlining the overall project activities while focusing on the works performed for identifying the codes and standards needs of innovative nuclear power plants and how their outcomes could contribute to the simplification and acceleration of licensing harmonisation. HARMONISE and CEN Workshop 64 are planning to collaborate on the issues under review.
